Ibrahim al-Musawi made the remark after the announcement of a ceasefire between Hezbollah and the Israeli regime.
He congratulated all Lebanese factions on the ceasefire agreement, stressing that the Zionist regime had to agree to it after failing to achieve the goals it has set for the war on Lebanon.
The Israeli regime had sought to repress the resistance movement but failed to do it and was forced to agree to the truce, he stated.
Al-Musawi added that negotiations on the ceasefire were conducted indirectly and that Hezbollah stresses the implementation of the UNSC Resolution 1701.
He went on to say that a proper time and venue will be announced for the funeral of the martyred Hezbollah leader in the near future.
A ceasefire agreement between Israel and the Lebanese group Hezbollah came into effect at 4 a.m. local time (02:00 GMT) on Wednesday, raising hopes for an end to more than 14 months of devastating conflict.
